نویسندگان

چکیده

Rosa canina belongs to rosacea family. Rosa. has a high concentration of phyto-constituents such as flavonoids, carotenoids, triterpene and vitamins vitamin C, E, A have an anti-inflammatory antioxidant

effects. The antioxidant effect presence large quantities phytochemicals flavonoids polyphenols. been used for arthritis gout, osteoarthritis, urinary tract disorder, diabetes, inflammation cancer. After grinding the leaves canina, they are extracted by using ethanol solvent (cold extraction method), then extract concentrated rotary evaporator at 40 c° leaving it dry. Median lethal dose (LD50) examined on 84 mice (male female) divided into seven groups, each one contains 12 (6 male 6 female). animals were monitored signs any behavior changes after administration extract. Acute toxicity study was done 20 rats female fourteen days. weight taken day 0, 7, 14. At fourteen, relative organ well histopathological examination (heart, liver, spleen, kidney, lung, abdominal stomach, testes ovaries) taken. In addition serum biochemical tests for) blood glucose, urea, creatinine, ALT, AST total bilirubin (were fourteen. result this study, indicated that 50 16.527 gram/kilogram. revealed there is no significant difference between controlled treated groups all organs selected mentioned above. addition, both groups. Finally, found regarding histopathology due p value P ˃ 0.05.
 Conclusion
According presented showed wide range safety depending 50h (16.527 g/kg). Therefore, considered nontoxic. No cytotoxic appeared in acute study. This results obtained, which include control biochemistry examination.

Investigation of Polyhenolic Content of Rose Hip (Rosa canina L.) Tea Extracts: A Comparative Study

Three different brands of Rose hip (Rosa canina L.) tea were extracted with water, ethanol (EtOH), methanol (MeOH), and aqueous mixtures (50%, v/v) by ultrasound-assisted extraction (UAE) and Soxhlet methods. Total phenolic content was determined according to the Folin-Ciocalteu method. The results were presented by means of the extract yields and total phenolic contents, expressed in gallic ac...

Robust estimation of the median lethal dose.

Alternatives to M-estimation for robust estimation of the median lethal dose in biological assays are developed. A class of link functions based on the Student-t distribution is proposed, where degrees of freedom are estimated from the data by maximum likelihood. Other alternatives include slash and finite mixture distributions. For bioassays from a pharmaceutical company, these methods extend ...

Successful Treatment of Acute Lethal Dose of Acrylamide Poisoning

Background: Acrylamide (C3H5NO) is a vinyl monomer. This water-soluble crystalline solid is a colorless, odorless agent which is used in scientific laboratories and some industries. Acrylamide has cellular oxidative effects. Acute or chronic poisoning with this agent happens as a result of skin, respiratory, or oral contacts. Clinical manifestations depend on the dose, duration, and frequency...
